Terms of service

1. Who you're buying from

The OUTBACK Shop (shop.outback.com.au) is operated by Australian Pool Distributors Pty Ltd, ABN 71 694 982 628 ("we", "us"). These terms apply to purchases through this website.

2. Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights or any other right you have under law.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • Shipping and any delivery surcharges are shown before you pay.
  • If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll contact you before processing the order. You can then choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
  • Payment is due in full at checkout unless we agree in writing to a deposit (e.g. for made-to-order pools).

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm by email. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid for it.

5. Clearance and one-off stock

Clearance pools are one-off units sold as described on the product page. Any known marks or imperfections are listed there. Clearance items still come with your Australian Consumer Law rights.

6. Delivery, risk and ownership

Delivery is covered in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Risk passes to you on delivery, and ownership passes when we receive full payment.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Check that your site is suitable, with access, base and power.
  • Get any council permits and registrations.
  • Install a compliant pool safety barrier (see Pool Safety & Council Rules).
  • Follow Outback's installation and maintenance instructions.

8. Installation and services

Where we supply a service (e.g. liner installation), we'll do it with due care and skill. Installers you engage independently are responsible for their own work.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you place your order apply to that order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
