Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For services we supply, such as liner installation: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Warranty periods
Periods start on the day your pool or product is delivered.

The periods above apply to pools supplied on or after 1 March 2026. For clearance stock pools or pools supplied before that date, contact us and we'll confirm which warranty applies.
What you need to do to keep the warranty
- Register your pool at outback.com.au/support/warranty-registration/.
- Install the pool on a base that meets Outback's specifications and follow Outback's installation specifications, including the in-ground procedure if you install it in-ground.
- Fill the pool within 24-48 hours of installation.
- Follow the Outback Maintenance Guide, including keeping water chemistry balanced and repairing scratches or surface corrosion promptly.
- Have warranty repairs done by an Outback-authorised person.
What isn't covered
- Installation and site work by others (liner fitting, plumbing, electrical), since installers are responsible for their own workmanship.
- Damage from incorrect water chemistry, chemical dosing or poor maintenance.
- Storms, floods, soil movement and other natural events.
- Transport, lifting or relocation not done by or for us.
These exclusions apply to this warranty only. They don't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to make a claim
Email store@pooldistributors.com.au or call 1300 550 655 with your order number, a description of the problem and photos. Contact us as soon as you notice a problem. We'll assess the claim and, if it's covered, repair or replace the item or part.
Costs
For approved claims, we cover the cost of repairing or replacing the faulty item or part. If other costs (such as freight or labour) apply, we'll tell you before any work starts. If you pay a cost we've agreed to cover, send us the receipt and we'll reimburse you.
The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the law.
